Performer

From the age of 9 when I had my first blow on the euphonium, I was sure it was the instrument for me. It took me a year of bugging my parents to convince them, but eventually they gave in and I began having lessons from the tuba player Richard Fox.

I progressed through the grades and various wind orchestras and ended up at Southampton University studying for a BA Music, in performance and composition. During this time I studied with Paul Johnson (Royal Marines) and had master classes from many established musicians.
Following this I went on to do a masters in Composition.
I currently play in several groups on both euphonium and trombone including,

- Sandhurst Silver Band
- Mellifluous Brass Quartet
- Subb Zero Big Band

I am available to hire as a solo performer, with or without piano accompaniment, or as part of the Mellifluous Brass Quartet.
